Mini-Circuits has developed a range test racks that simulate mesh networks of 3 to N interconnected devices with independently variable attenuation on every path. This concept allows simulation of “realworld” mesh communication networks in the confined space of a production environment. Path loss can be varied independently between any pair of devices, simulating the effects of distance and interference without affecting any other paths. LTCC meets 5G in Mini-Circuits’ latest filter designs. The BFHK-2582+ is an LTCC bandpass filter with a passband corresponding to the 5G n258 band from 24.25 to 27.5 GHz. This filter utilizes a proprietary millimeter-wave-compatible LTCC material system with an advanced distributed filter topology to achieve outstanding high-frequency performance with all the advantages of an LTCC component. It can handle up to 1W RF input power and provides 2.0 dB passband insertion loss with up to 58 dB rejection in the stopband. Mini-Circuits’ LTA-M1109-D+ is an ultra-wideband distributed amplifier die with an operating frequency range from DC to 50 GHz and ±2.2 dB gain flatness from 0.1 to 50 GHz. Fabricated using pHEMT process on GaAs, the amplifier requires no external matching circuitry and provides 17 dB typical gain, P1dB from 17 to 20.7 dBm, and OIP3 from 20.8 to 32 dBm. The die is available in small quantity gel-paks of 5 and 10 “known good die” as well as partial and full production wafers. This model may be used as a replacement for MACOM model MAAM-011109-DIE.
